海關關長陳子達1月10日與多位東盟成員國駐港總領事一起，利用閒暇前往油塘炮台山（又名魔鬼山）清潔郊野山徑，以促進交流，同時服務社區。
參與活動的包括馬來西亞駐港總領事Muzambli MARKAM、泰國駐港總領事 Chaturont CHAIYAKAM、老撾駐港總領事Ammala SAENCHONGHACK、菲律賓駐港總領事Romulo Victor M. ISRAEL, JR.、汶萊駐港總領事LIM Kim Suan、新加坡駐港總領事TEO Boon Hee、緬甸駐港總領事Phoo Pwint Ko Ko、印尼駐港總領事Fithonatul MAR’ATI，以及各領事館人員。
陳子達在活動後衷心感謝東盟各國駐港總領事對香港海關的支持和對本地社區的關顧。香港海關將繼續積極參與社區服務，展現對社會的關懷與承擔，並會繼續與各總領事館攜手合作，促進雙方的人員和貿易往來。
【Commissioner of Customs and Excise and Consuls-General of ASEAN Member States in Hong Kong Join Hands in Cleansing the Countryside】
Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Mr CHAN Tsz-tat, joined hands with Consuls-General of ASEAN Member States in Hong Kong yesterday (10 January) to clean up the hiking trail at the Devil’s Peak in Yau Tong during their leisure time. This activity aims at fostering collaborations while serving the community.
Among those participating in the event were Consul-General of Malaysia in Hong Kong, Mr Muzambli MARKAM; Consul-General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Hong Kong, Mr Chaturont CHAIYAKAM; Consul-General of Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Hong Kong, Mr Ammala SAENCHONGHACK; Consul-General of the Republic of the Philippines in Hong Kong, Mr Romulo Victor M. ISRAEL, JR.; Consul-General of Brunei Darussalam in Hong Kong, Ms LIM Kim Suan; Consul-General of the Republic of Singapore in Hong Kong, Mr TEO Boon Hee; Consul-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Hong Kong, Ms Phoo Pwint Ko Ko; and Acting Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Hong Kong, Ms Fithonatul MAR’ATI, along with staff members of the Consulates-General.
After the activity, Commissioner CHAN expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Consuls-General of ASEAN Member States in Hong Kong for their support to Hong Kong Customs and the local community. Hong Kong Customs will continue to actively engage in community services, demonstrating its commitment and care for society. Hong Kong Customs will also work closely with the Consulates-General to facilitate the flow of people and bilateral trade.
